God’s Forever Love For Us! | Tanesha Richardson

love Love: The bible says God is love. Just think when we experience the purest form of love in turn we are experiencing the nature of God in our hearts. Love is a God experience. It is limitless, bigger than life, all en-compassing experience of God. ~Brittney Moses~ Ephesians 3:14-19 states “Dwell in your hearts by faith. Rooted and grounded in love. Comprehend with all saints the breadth, length, and depth, and height; and to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fullness of God. What is the fullness of God? How much does God loves us? God’s love is unconditional (Agape) but in Ephesians 3:19 Apostle Paul made it known that we will never understand the amount of love God has for us. And even though that may be true we can at least get an understanding of his love. The bible is God’s greatest love story, but many people especially Christians take for granted the amount of love God actually portrays. Let's break it down: How do we know God is love? God's Only Son: Genesis 1:1 let’s us know from the beginning when it stated “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. God thought enough to form creation. Next, in Mark 12:30, God expressed to us in his first commandment, “And they shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength. God’s first commandment is LOVE!!! My goodness!!! Another example of God’s love took place in John 3:16, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life. <<<<< If that’s not a great act of love then I don’t know what is. What God or King you know or ever known of would sacrifice their only son for us and in return tell us that we won’t perish but have everlasting life if we BELIEVE. The Gift of The Holy Spirit: God also shows his love through the gift of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is God’s engagement ring to his eternal love for us! (Spoken For) Apostle Paul said it best… Love is patient and kind, never jealous or envious, never haughty or selfish or rude. Love does not demand its own way. It is not irritable or touchy. It does not hold grudges and will hardly even notice when others do it wrong. It is never glad about injustice, but rejoices whenever truth wins out. If you love someone you will be loyal to him no matter what the cost. You will always believe in him, always expect the best from him, and always stand your ground in defending him.  All the special gifts and powers from God will someday come to an end, but love goes on forever…there are three that remain faith, hope, and love, and the greatest is love. God loves us as much as he loves Jesus, and even when we are disobedient. God’s love for us is outrageous because even though he doesn’t need us; he still seeks for us, longs for us, wants us, and desires us, and he pursues after us. God’s love is the greatest love EVER!!! His love conquers everything. Through our relationship with Jesus we find out that God is creating an epic love story for us. We find out that we are wanted, we are pursued, we are loved, we have been called, we are of great value in his eyes, we are a peculiar treasure, we are set free, we are covered, we are promised, and most importantly we are spoken for. (Spoken For)

He takes care of his flock like a shepherd. He gathers the lambs in his arms. He carries them close to his heart. ~Isaiah 40:11

Even when life gets in the way God still loves us. Even when our faith is tested, and we see no way out, God still loves us. What I love about God’s love is that it’s REAL, it’s PURE. It can be so overwhelming, because when we give up on him, he never leaves us. When hurt creeps into our hearts he’s still there waiting with open arms. God has purpose for all of us because we are his children and he is our father. We may never understand the fullness of God’s love but we can at least understand some of it. One thing I have learned is that God’s love surpasses everything. The more I grow closer to Christ, the more I understand his love for me. I believe that one day we will experience God’s full love for us and that day will be when we give him all of us…when we find ourselves lost within him is when we will unlock the mystery of God’s love for us. Until then be bless. Tanesha Richardson
